What is 1920’s and 1930’s Interior Design?

In the 1920’s and 1930’s industrialization influenced design with an emphasis on practicality and functionality. Though simplicity might have been the aim, by the end of this period the more decorative and highly stylized Art Deco movement became the prevailing paradigm.
